The Max IIIA armor plate is made from special blend of steel to be lighter than traditional hard armor while still defeating a multitude of threats. Designed to fit Small-Medium sized torsos, this plate is set up for righties or lefties depending on the configuration you select for shouldering firearms like all The Max Front and Rear Plates. This armor plate is multi-hit rated.
The threats and velocities this plate is rated to defeat are:
.44 Mag 240 gr. @1430fps +/-30fps
.357 Sig 125 gr. @1470fps +/-30fps
12 ga 2 ¾” 1oz. Slug @1600fps +/-30fps
